Rules

+ Keep in mind that we have lots of characters and in very busy threads, lots of conversations to juggle. Do not force your character into the center of attention all the time. It’s just rude.

+ If you want to have a mutual “crush” or a relationship with someone else’s character, please PM them first. One-sided relationships and crushes are also acceptable.

+ Use OOC (Out Of Character) places to chat. OOC chatting is NOT permitted in the role play area.

+ Please do not advertise anywhere else except for the Advertising board. Any advertisements posted in any other sections of the forum will be deleted.

+ Only magical creature’s are allowed to use magick here. You must have a blood line of magickal ancestry. So if your character is Human, don’t even think about it.

+ We prefer it if you post in third character here, as it is easier to know which member is posting with which character

+ You can have as many characters as you want, but make sure that you can handle the characters you decide to post with. Having any inactive characters spoils things.

+ To maintain diversity on the boards, try playing both female and male characters.

+ Please put the names of your other characters or have a signature created for you. A good site for this is SoCal. This will make it easy for everyone to tell who’s characters are who’s.

+ When your character is leaving a thread, say where your character is going in text. Example: “Bob left the room and headed towards Central City.”

+ Your character can only be in one place at a time. But if the other poster is inactive in both OOC and the role play boards without a reason of absence for more than a fortnight, please feel free to move on but PM a member of staff before you do so. Any inactive characters and members may be subjected to deletion. If you cannot keep role playing here, then please say so in the introductions/departure board.

+ Power-playing and god-modding will not be tolerated on this site. If you don’t know what power-playing is, ask another member or better yet, a moderator. Though here is an example of it in a fight:

Bob ran madly at Keith, throwing his whole weight against him, Keith fell to the ground with a few, broken ribs.

Here is what it should be like:

Bob ran at Keith, shifting his whole weight to his side as he did so. He aimed at Keith’s chest and focused, hoping he’d hit his target.

Then Keith will decide if Bob hits him or not, and if he does what damage is inflicted.

+ Please be as kind and courteous to members and treat them as you would wish to be treated.

+ No WrItInG lIkE tHiS or ths plz it ish vry annoyin’.

+ When posting in the RPG section, please made an effort to make it over 2 decent paragraphs, it isn’t hard and it really does make it easier for people to reply to you, if you are unsure on how to make your posts longer then please message and admin or mod for help.

+ For advanced role players, don’t write so much that people are intimidated to post with you. Use good judgment and take those ideas to a fan fiction.
